A little rain never hurt anyone! And today's engagement pictures prove just that. Jessie & Charlie took their pictures in Boise, Idaho (where they both work) on a rainy day and the pictures turned out wonderfully!
How they met (from the bride): We met at an elementary school in a rural central Idaho town about four years ago. I was there to write about a program that teaches students how to play chess and Charlie had been hired to shoot photos for a story. We got to know each other while eating lunch in the school cafeteria and soon became friends, but we didn’t start dating until about a year and a half later ... after Charlie decided to bend his rule about not dating people he worked with professionally. It had also become clear to both us and our friends that we were way too similar not to be together.
The Proposal (from the bride): Well, there were two. Charlie initially asked me to marry him in August when he was offered a job in another state. I think he was mostly petrified that I wouldn’t be willing to move with him. He was obviously a nervous wreck about the job offer and so I told him that of course I would marry him but I wanted a real proposal... And he came through about a month later, during a beautiful sunset at a local pond, where our dog likes to swim.
My fav! Such a cute little family!
Charlie (the groom) is a photographer for the Idaho Press-Tribune.
Congrats to Charlie & Jessie!
