Your wedding invitations will set the tone for your wedding.  It's the first look people will get at what your wedding will be like.

And today's {A Little Something} are doing just that.  These invites are gorgeous, elegant and fun - the perfect mood to set for a wedding.

These would also be perfect for a dinner party! (perhap for New Year's Eve?!)

A Little Something ~ #29

There are so many different, unique wedding invites options out there.  And today's {A Little Something} is just another one of those.

I found this idea while using Stumble Upon and came across a post with 10 unique invites.  Check out all of the ideas, they're really interesting.  But, this one below stood out to me.

I've never seen a film strip invite like this before and absolutely love it - so fun!

How cute is today's {A Little Something}?!

I found these little mini wedding invitations on Cap Classique.  This couple sent these tiny invites including a mini map to their wedding guests.

So freakin' cute!

Etsy Find ~ Tree Space Studio

I was searching on Etsy for this week's post and came across these paper products by Tree Space Studio.  They are amazing and each one is unique.  I seriously am obsessed.  I think you guys are going to love these as much as I do.

From the owner, Amy: "I want to be able to create {functional} and accessible artwork for everyday uses, whether it is invitations, packaging for hand-made goods or gift-wrapping-everyday objects that are often disposable, and design them as miniature art pieces, something to treasure and keep because it is just too darn cool. To me, making something beautiful for keeps is the greatest form of sustainability.”

I absolutely love this storybook wedding invite!

Hand-painted Table Place Cards

I love how fun and whimsical these Save-the-Date cards are!

Save-the-Date

Save-the-Dates are the first impression people will get of your wedding and the feel for your big day.  You can go with simple, fancy, vintage, DIY... the possibilities are endless.

Make sure to send your save-the-date cards at least 6 months in advance of the wedding to give people (especially those from out of town) enough time to plan.  You should always include: the date, location, accommodations and your website if you have one so people have all the details they need.

I think it's important to have fun with your save-the-date cards.  You can give people a little taste of who you are as a couple and get them excited about your upcoming nuptials.

Here are some great options:

DIY Vintage Postcards

Number Ribbon - too cute!

Punch Tickets

Crossword Puzzle

Handkerchief - such a unique idea!

Event Tickets

Simple with blocks or color

Have you ever gotten a unique save-the-date card?

Etsy Find - Shine Invitations

This week's Etsy find is Shine Invitations.  I came across this shop earlier this week and just feel in love with all of their fabulous wedding invitation designs.  They  have so many colors (42 options!) and designs to pick from!  They also offer matching accessories (i.e. programs, menus, place cards, etc.) so you can get everything all wrapped up in one package with the same look and feel.

How pretty is this design - this is probably my favorite!

I love the simple elegance of these!

And for a couple of the accessories:
