A Vintage Fairytale

"And they lived happily ever after..."

As I've mentioned a couple times last week and yesterday, I was involved in a styled photo shoot a few weeks ago.  The whole idea came from Krissy with Make Believe'N to feature her wedding sashes and grew from there.  Krissy had the idea of a vintage 1940's themed shoot and asked me to join from a planning and styling aspect.  From there we got photographers, other designers, models, make-up and hair stylists to sign on (if you've ever done a styled shoot, you'll know from experience that the logistics are not a walk in the park).

After we got everyone on board, Krissy, myself and the two photographers (Morgan & Janelle) went scouting for locations.  We found so many around Atlanta (such a great city for photo shoots!) but landed on Oglethorpe for the romantic feel and Janelle's house which is full of amazing backgrounds and scenes.

Bright and early on a Sunday (aka 730 am!) we got started with the hair, make-up and styling.  As you can see everything came together perfectly to make a vintage fairytale.

This is a great shot of everything coming together - the 40's hair & make-up with Krissy's belt

One of my favorites!

Loved this wall - it was a great find at Oglethorpe!

Loved the romance in this picture.

What do you guys think of the shoot?  It was such a fun experience!  Annnnd I have more to share with you all week long!

Up tomorrow - less traditional wedding looks.
