The Burlap Trend

With the Fall wedding season underway (the first day of Autumn was September 23rd), it's pretty clear that burlap is the big trend this year.  And I just love how many different ways it can be incorporated into your big day!

For example, the wedding we had in Jacksonville two weekends ago used some these ideas.  The bride (and her mom) made table runners, square centerpieces, and wreaths with burlap.  Along with wine glasses, candles and flowers the burlap gave the perfect vintage, rustic feel for the reception.

So I decided to do a little more research and found some really great ideas for burlap wedding decor:

Hope everyone's Fall is off to a great start!

  2. Burlap is a great fabric because it's cheap and has great texture. However - be warned. It is a difficult fabric to work with because it unravels so be prepared.
