Sometimes we all need a little break and today was a day I needed a blogging break. But don't worry I still have something fun for you all to read! Thanks to Megan for this wonderful {Guest Post}!
After seeing Monday’s blog with those BEAUTIFUL Louboutins, I started thinking about the shoes brides wear on their big day. As I have been a bridesmaid in multiple weddings, I always find that the shoes underneath the dress truly reflect the individual. It made me think, what would I wear?

First, if you know me, I hardly wear heels and when I do, I complain 99% of the time. Due to my aversion to heels, I have become a flats aficionado. I LOVE the Lanvin ballet flats. Beautiful, simple, comfortable, and something that I could wear multiple times. These flats come in multiple colors, so you can pick the one that fits you and your wedding theme!
What shoes would you or did you wear on your wedding day?
Hi Megan!
ReplyDeleteI love flats too, I dont think I can even walk in heels! Love the cowboy boots for brides and bridesmaids...so fun! :)
I wore my Mom's wedding shoes :D They were the cutest things ever! The were of Ivory color and reminded me of old fashioned Mary Jane shoes.
ReplyDeleteLO freakin L! I wrote about my shoes today, too!!! Rope sandals made by an Egalitarian community in the Ozarks are my bridal reception footwear since I'll be barefoot for the wedding.
ReplyDeleteLove the cowgirl boot idea. That is my vote!
That first photo is amazing, I love the shoes, such a beautiful color.
ReplyDeleteLove It!
ReplyDeleteAh, man...had I worn a traditional dress, I probably would have worn my cowboy boots. I wore these red heels that I love, though. I hardly ever wear heels either...they hurt my feet. The only reason I wore heels was because my dress already had to be taken up so much even with the heels. I figured the dress would start to look funny should I take it up even more. I don't know how tall these stores think the average woman is!
ReplyDeleteThose first pair of heels are awesome. I really like flats too and mary janes. Not so keen on the cowboy boots though white victorian boots seem more appropriate to me.
ReplyDeleteOh I love cowboy shoes but I don't think I'd wear them on my wedding! Nini (followed you back)
ReplyDeleteI'd wear those red Louboutins...they are so screaming out "passion" and "sex" in a decent, exciting way while the dress would say "pure" and "precious".
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for such great comments!
ReplyDeleteAlso, thank you to SOSN for letting me guest post. I LOVE this blog!!
Love that top pair of ruby red heels.
ReplyDeleteThe first pair of flats is so adorable and it would look sweet paired up with a wedding dress. Wish you both a great day
ReplyDeleteKisses
I love the look of something different! I wore pretty traditional shoes and wish I got something with color, because I am sure I'll never wear mine again! Oops!
ReplyDeleteThat is really helpful. It provided me a number of ideas and I'll be placing them on my web site eventually. I'm bookmarking your blog and I'll be back. Thanks again!
