Happy Mardi Gras! Today is Fat Tuesday, which is the last and biggest day of celebration for the Mardi Gras Carnival. The traditional colors of Mardi Gras are purple, green and gold. Each of the colors have specific meanings: purple is for justice, green is for faith and gold is for power.

ReplyDeleteAll the purples and greens look great! They were always my two favorite colors growing up. I did get teased a bit for "liking Barney the dinosaur colors." But hey, the creators of that show just realized how great the two colors complemented each other!
